Tata Nexon Becomes The Best-Selling Sub-Compact SUV In India In February 2022

Tata Motors sold 12,259 units of Nexon SUV in India in February 2022, making it the best-selling subcompact SUV in India last month. In the corresponding period last year, Nexon registered sales of 7,929 units, which is an increment of 55 percent on a Year-over-Year (YOY) basis.Meanwhile, Tata Motors has also celebrated the rollout of the 3,00,000th Nexon in India. Nexon is among the top 5 highest selling cars in India in the compact SUV segment and since the 2,00,000 roll out in June 2021, Tata Motors recorded one lakh units of the Nexon in less than 8 months. Nexon also leads the EV business for Tata Motors in India.To mark this milestone, Tata Motors launched 4 new variants in the top trims of this successful compact SUV - the XZ+ (P) / XZA+ (P) and XZ+ (HS) / XZA+ (HS) in both petrol & diesel with a new color option in Royale Blue. These variants will also be offered in the Dark edition.The Nexon is powered by a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, while there is a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel on offer as well. The petrol motor delivers 120 hp of power, while the diesel motor churns out 110 hp of power.
